About Us
The Paphos Warriors started in September 2009, born out of a need to provide a new style of youth football academy in Pafos, Cyprus. We train twice weekly with games on Saturdays.
Fun & friendly If you want to have fun and enjoy playing football, and being part of a pro-active caring club then we are here for you !
Serious Ambition We do encourage serious players ambition and will endeavor to guide and support you whilst improving your performance !
Every year we go on tour away from Cyprus to a different country to train with top coaches and play international teams. This tour is open to all ages and abilities, it is very popular and exhausting fun.
Last February we visited Barcelona, take a look at the 'Club News' section for some photo reports on what we got up to including training with Spanish coaches, a visit to the Camp Nou, competing in a local football tournament and a Warriors Dads vs Spain mini-international.
As well as our extensive home coaching team, we also bring coaches over to Pafos, Cyprus to provide additional training, April '11 seeing the arrival of UEFA Espanyol coach Marc Ventura from Barcelona. Marc hosted a 3 day intensive training course for our youth teams and also a training session for the Warriors coaching team. Again check the 'Club News' for more in depth photo reports.
Each year we have had visiting coaches from Arsenal Football Club, in October '10 we had an Arsenal coach take several sessions over a 6 week period for all our youth teams.
Our ultimate aim is .... that you will be trained properly, and enjoy playing football in a positive, exciting environment.
